This generation is a reforming generation that is marked by God and refuses to except the status quo. These teens and young adults will never fit in a box marked, “normal.” The very core of who they are calls them to change things. They love God but hate religion. They crave His presence but loath the average church service. They refuse to let the world around them shape or define them. Rather they know they have been called to shape the world. When this generation dreams, they dream the impossible. They realize the impossible is achievable. Bullets don’t scare them but mediocrity does. Losing their life does not scare them but wasting it does. The truth is they have already died to themselves to be reborn in Him. It’s time to support what God has placed in this generation. They are crying out for your support! We are looking for people outside of Grace Tabernacle to stand with us as we begin raising money for the Lampstand. We are asking for monthly sponsorship amounts for a commitment of 12 months begining in May of 2009. Keep an eye out for more information and videos about the Lampstand. What is the Lampstand? It's a place for youth and young adults to come to throughout the week and encounter God. The Lampstand will be located in Central Florida. The Lampstands primary focus is on worship and restoring the Tabernacle of David. It's made up of many churches focusing together as "The Church" instead of "A Church." The Lampstand is showing the Kingdom way of living as the only way of living. It's about His government and His reign. There is much to tell and will have more info soon.
