What we believe:
IN ESSENTIAL BELIEFS, WE NEED UNITY. EPH. 4:4-6
IN NON-ESSENTIAL BELIEFS, WE HAVE LIBERTY. ROM. 14:4-22
IN ALL BELIEFS, WE SHOW CHARITY. I COR. 13:2
GRACE TABERNACLE IS A NON-DENOMINATIONAL MINISTRY. WE RELATE AND FELLOWSHIP WITH ALL THE BODY OF CHRIST BUT WE DO NOT TAKE ON THE NAME OF ANY OTHER DENOMINATION.
PRESENTING JESUS, THE REVELATION OF GRACE AND TRUTH THAT TRANSFORMS LIVES.
Practical ministry values:
We believe in reaching beyond racial and ethnic barriers with the gospel of Jesus.
We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is for all believers. This includes the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and all the gifts of the Spirit are in operation for today.
We believe pastoral care, discipleship, and relationships best happens in small groups.
Statement of Faith
We believe in the verbal inspiration of the scriptures and the authority of both the Old and New Testaments.
We believe man was created in the image of God, through disobedience sinned and that the entire human race shares in man’s lost and depraved nature until they born from above by the Spirit. At salvation man’s old sinful nature is crucified and man is given God’s nature.
We believe Jesus is the eternal Son of God, and God the Son at the same time. God Himself took the form of a man by means of the virgin birth. Atonement for sin was made by the sacrificial and substitutional death of Jesus Christ for us.
We believe salvation is the gift of God by grace alone and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven, and His priestly intercession.
We believe the Holy Spirit permanently indwells the believer and seals him upon salvation.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as God’s means to empower us to live supernatural lives.
We believe all the spiritual giftings are vital ingredients to church life and are operative today.
We believe the ordinances of the church are Water Baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper, both of which are administered to those who are born again.
We believe in the eternal salvation of the believers and in the eternal damnation and punishment of the nonbelievers.
We believe in the visible, soon, and glorious return of Jesus Christ, the “Blessed Hope” of the Church.
Vision of the Church
The vision of Grace Tabernacle is to be a community of believers that manifest Jesus to our immediate community and throughout the world.
What you may experience at our worship services.
Our worship of God is celebrative, with freedom to express our love and adoration without the fear of man. Sometimes we follow structure and other times we are spontaneous. At times we are loud and other times quiet. We aim to let the Holy Spirit lead us in whatever He wants to do. Therefore, every service is different.
Sometimes we shout and sometimes we are still and quiet.
Sometimes we clap our hands in honor and praise to God.
Sometimes we speak in tongues in the worship setting. Sometimes we sing in the Spirit. Sometimes we dance.
Sometimes we wave banners as part of our worship.
Sometimes people fall down under the power of God.
We minister to one another.
We present the gospel to the lost.
We pray for sick in any service that someone wants prayer.
We cast our demons as we are led by the Holy Spirit to do so.
We move in spiritual gifts as the Holy Spirit leads us.
